What is MarketMirror?
A competitor analysis system for local businesses and the agencies that serve them. It finds your real competitors, scores everyone side by side on 68 checks, explains the results in plain English with the 5 fixes that matter most, and then tracks your market every month.
How does MarketMirror decide who my competitors are?
The same way your customers do: by searching. We run the searches that bring in real jobs for your trade (like "roof repair near me") from up to 49 points across your service area, plus normal search results and ads. Duplicates, closed businesses and directories are removed, and the rest are ranked by threat: share of search, review growth, distance and service overlap. You can add or remove competitors at any time.
Is it a one-time report or ongoing competitor tracking?
Both. You can buy a single report, but the platform is built for tracking: it saves a snapshot of your market every month and alerts you to new reviews, rank moves, new ads, price changes and new competitors.
Where does the data come from?
Official and licensed sources: Google business listings, local search results, Google PageSpeed, public ad libraries and each competitor's own website. Every number in the report shows its source and the date it was collected.
Is the AI going to make things up?
No. The AI only sees clean, structured facts, never raw web pages, and is not allowed to invent numbers. A second check compares every sentence against the data and removes anything that is not backed up. When data is missing or old, the report says so.
How is the score calculated?
Each data point is ranked against your local market (0 = worst, 100 = best), because a 4.6 rating is great in one town and weak in another. The checks roll up into six areas (reputation, search visibility, website, Google profile, ads and social), which are weighted for your trade into one score out of 100.
Can agencies put their own brand on reports?
Yes. On the Agency plans every report and PDF carries your logo and colors. Lead mode scans up to 50 businesses at once so you can find the weakest ones to pitch, and Agency Pro adds API access and team seats.
Which businesses is it built for?
Today: US local service businesses that win on Google Maps, like roofers, plumbers, HVAC companies, dentists and lawyers. Next: online stores and Amazon sellers (prices, listings, reviews), then software companies (features, pricing pages, traffic).
